Definition
The Cranium - part that contains brain
Facial skeleton - bones of the face
Many bones of the cranium are paired - left and a right
The bones which cross the mid-sagittal plane, are unpaired.

Temporals
Unpaired Cranial Bones:
Frontal
Occipital
Sphenoid
Ethmoid
Base of skull - floor of the Cranial cavity
part of frontal bone, ethmoid, sphenoid, temporal
and occipital bones form the floor of the
cranial cavity and on it rests the brain. The
floor of the cranial cavity has many foramina
for the cranial nerves, vessels to leave or enter
the cranium. e.g.. foramen magnum, jugular
foramen, foramen rotundum, foramen spinosum etc.
