Malignant Exophthalmos - Note the severity of the exophthalmos. The exophthalmos goes on progressing in spite of treatment of the hyperthyroidism and goitre if any. It will need a separate surgery to correct the eye problem : the periorbital tissues may have to be excised to put the eye ball back into the eye socket (orbit) called orbital decompression.
