1 Talus : forms ankle joint with tibia and fibula - ankle mortice
1 Calcaneum : heel bone : articulates with talus and cuboid
1 Navicular articulates with talus and cuneiform
3 Cuneiform bones : articulate with cuboid and navicular bones and metatarsal bones
1 Cuboid : articulates with the calcaneum, cuneiform and metatarsal bones
       Tarsal bones : 7        Carpal bones : 8
Ligaments
The tarsal bones are supported by tendons of the muscles in the posterior compartment of the leg and ligaments - form arches of foot

Movements
Talus is part of ankle joint - Dorsiflexion, plantar flexion
The other small subtalar joints - inversion, eversion.
